Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness, especially in people with certain illnesses Judi Singleton Review of Stanford's Lake Oswego. Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant. Love the all day happy hour. A lot of the servers been here for quite some time and are fun to have served you. Much different ambience than the last time I was here and the food and service was exceptional. Loved the Babyback Ribs and the Filet. The staff was smiling and the server had a Swagger of enthusiasm which had been missing. . The food is consistently excellent (be sure to have creme brulee for dessert!), the atmosphere is cozy a little dark for my tastes. I went to dinner with eight friends and they drink and have the wine I don't, but all said the drinks and wine selection was great. Seems to me it is just another chain, it has good food. I like that they have a small portion from the Happy Hour Menu most of the day. Stanford's knows what they are and what they are not. They do it well and consistently. I respect this and will certainly return.

Wild mushrooms: not an inspected product I would not have chosen this restaurant even though it has high reviews. But I was invited out by a competitor and I really did have a very nice meal. As I paid for nothing I have nothing to complain about. However, if you are a senior like myself and on a fixed income you can be quite frugal. $25 to $45. dollars for a meal and drinks no matter how good it is if I had been paying even sharing a meal would have been prohibitive. Just on the principle of the thing one meal here is a week of very good groceries for me. Perhaps when my business takes off as I know it will as I have a very good niche I will not blink an eye at $45 for a meal. The food was wonderful. The service superb. I just had to wince at the prices because I am a very frugal gourmet. For six of us the bill was over $200. but as I said my host did not blink an eye, it was just a writeoff and a business dinner to him. Review of Fivespice Seafood & Wine Bar

About Fivespice Seafood & Wine Bar 315 First Street Suite 201 Lake Oswego, OR 97034
Wonderful food and excellent service! Highly recommend the thai pesto-crusted mahi mahi with the most amazing brown rice I've ever had and a wonderful green papaya salad. The Peanut Butter Mouse Pie is a wonderful way to end the meal. Tasting and light. Ask for Tony as your server he is the best! Ten of us went out from my building. We all had something different to eat. I felt it was spendy and so did several others. I shared a meal as usual because neither my friend or I are very big eaters. We always think these places are out of sight as far as prices as we are on fixed incomes and most do not have much of a senior discount. This place has a beautiful view of the lake. The food is excellent as was the service. We enjoyed ourselves. We can only do this about once a month so we try new places. We might really consider going back to this one. I went with four friends and we all agreed that we found that the food was very tasty, fresh salads and really great, even exceptional entrees. my friends the house cocktails were tasty as well as the local wine was wonderful, however, we felt that the prices as a whole were higher than other restaurants of the same caliber. House made cocktails were 11.00 and most of the entrees were over 25.00. If you are looking for a quiet dinner with good food and don't mind spending a little extra, Clarke's would be a fine choice. We especially enjoyed the quiet atmosphere as we had not seen each other in quiet a while and wanted to visit. Might be a good place to have a holiday party with all the banquet rooms. Will I go back problably when I want a quiet dinner with friends. But it is spendy. Luckily I don't drink so I forgo the cocktail and wine prices. I liked the beet salad with capers and the quinoa salad. Flank steak salad was also delicious. The salmon cakes are fantastic,,especially with the lime aioli. The quinoa cakes with 7-spice aioli were also pretty good. The 7 spice had some Indian flavors to it. Sweet potato Jojo's are pretty good too. I can see w they are one of the most ordered on the menu. However, I still prefer my Jojo's hot. Cookies are all pretty good. Tuna melt sandwich, I LOVED IT WOULDN'T THINK ANYTHING THAT SIMPLE WOULD ENTICE ME. mY friend had the salmon cake and the quinoa salad, he shared and I loved it. Recommend this to anyone and I will be back to try other things. Service was also excellent. Just a warning, they do run out of some items towards the end of the day. This restaurant is just around the corner from where I live I went to lunch with a friend like everyone else I talk to she loved it. The restaurant is packed all the time, but I did not like the food. I went just that once. The bakery is wonderful. I have brought things home from the bakery. However, I do not know what all the fuss is about. I thought the food was over priced and not really very good. My friend always wants to go there and to humor her I may go back, but it won't be for the food. Join our site and receive 15% off all during the month of October. They say a picture is worth 1000 words. For what its worth this my opinion The Oswego Grill is a step above most of the chain type restrauants. Three friends and I went to celebrate a friends birthday for dinner. I had not been there for dinner before. I had been there for lunch with my daughter and several times with friends for Happy Hour. if I had to choose again I would stick to Happy Hour. The food was good and one friend and I split a meal, which was still more food than I could eat. The service was really good, way above average, the waiter did not hover but was right there when we needed him. I don't drink but my friends said the drinks and wine was excellent. It was a well insulated room and we could visit easily even though the place was packed. I would of liked to be seated in their outdoor dining area but the wait would have been prohibitive. lIKE I said to begin with this place is a cut above most of the chains in the area. Will I go back maybe for lunch, definitely for Happy Hour. Probably not fot for dinner. Though everything was lovely. it was just too much of everything for me. It was also like most places in Lake Oswego very expensive. Join our site and receive 15% off all during the month of October. Receive invitations for all members only sales. I would give this place a 2.5 stars in the event that I could! The hold up time to get situated alongside the period of time we sat tight for our sustenance in the wake of requesting is a reason's piece I'm giving them 2 stars rather than 5. 40 minutes hold up time to get a seat and after that an additional 40 minutes of getting water refills before being sustained. I recommend you convey a book you've been intending to peruse, as I did, fortunately. Gotta keep that holder under control! The place has awful acoustics could not here my friends across the table and we went to lunch just so we could visit.  The food was cold when delivered, had to wait another 25 minutes to get it heated.

They truly know how to informal breakfast here. Everything was simply delectable! I requested the Waffler, which permits you to pick two waffle decisions and have half of each. I very prescribe this alternative for individuals who adoration waffles and like to have distinctive flavors in the same feast. I picked the Lyonnaise and the month's waffle, which was Summer Berry. An exquisite and sweet combo that is difficult to beat in my books! I mean simply take a gander at the photo!!

Nourishment details: The waffles were crunchy on the outside and delicate within, exactly how I like them!!! The cream on the Summer Berry Waffle half was stunning and the berries tasted new. They give you a liberal measure of ham on the Lyonnaise Waffle half, however not a flood of sauce, which I genuinely appreciate. A lot of sauce dependably rapidly transforms into a spongy waffle. Additionally, in the Lyonnaise portion of my dish, I thought the arugula brought pleasant, inconspicuous notes of intensity to the blend.

There is doubtless that Waffler vanished totally and genuine snappy. I likewise requested a cappuccino, which wasn't astounding truth be told. There was likewise a colossal measure of froth on the top. On the off chance that they ventured up their espresso diversion a bit, and I'd most likely arrive consistently on the off chance that I could.

Babica Hen, continue doing you, perhaps just with the shorter hold up times! You could consider insulation for sound and hot food or more help.

From the business

I guess people knew about this place, but it certainly felt like a discovery to me! A very pleasant space in an unlikely strip mall location (but conveniently located right across the street from the Lakewood Center -- which is why we happened to be here); in a way it reminded me of La Piazza Italia minus the soccer theme, although it has a considerably larger menu -- it's a big open kitchen, so it doesn't have Piazza's limitations on that score. My spaghetti carbonara was the best I've had in this country, and my wife loved her veggie lasagna and butternut squash salad. Lots of good Italian wines by the glass, even including a Barolo. Didn't have desserts because of time constraints, but the pastries sounded worth a try. I'm eager to try severBabica Hen Cafe, Lake Oswego, Oregon reviewer Judi Singletonal other pasta dishes, and maybe a pizza, but it will take some will power to pass by that carbonara.
